Someone anonymously tipped the elders?
by raven inso here an update on my current situation, in a nutshell i've been trying to quietly fade for the past 5 months.. well, my mom somehow found out that i am currently fading and that i live with my boyfriend (for more info on this check my previous posts) i told her yes i live with him and yes i no longer want to be a jw.
anyways, yesterday she met my boyfriend.. awkward.
and after lunch she pulled me aside to tell me that the po came up to her (he was part of my jc when i was reproved) he said to her "someone came to me and said - i cannot say who so they will remain anonymous- but that your daughter is living with someone" my mom confirmed and apparently he told her that i have one week to confess this, and if i don't my parents are obligated to tell them everything.. what kind of nonsense is that?

Teacup, hasn't your mother been paying attention at the meetings, looking at the pictures, and watching the videos (well, I'm thinking of the one coming out at the RC)? JWs are soon to have to start hiding in basements and fear for their lives! If all the neighbors know that she's a JW, they'll head straight over with torches and pitchforks to murder you both and burn the house down with her cart and WT litteratrash inside! Supposedly, Jerkhovah will only protect the organization, he will NOT protect individuals who face the consequences of their own foolish actions after they've been warned of the dangers facing dubs... very soon now.
If she feels the need to preach, she needs to be much more cautious and preach where people won't recognize her and follow her home to kill her during the tribulation. Or doesn't she believe that armageddon is coming and JWs will face attack by Satan and the worldlings?

the ambulance people look at an id and a no blood card in spanish.. quick flash away to now and a happy family of a couple with 2 young boys.
all good kids it collages their everyday life, all centered around theocratic activities.

WT has reduced themselves to the same level of cashing in on the same emotional storytelling.

Can someone tell me, specifically, was homophobic about the new "Anti-gay" WT video. Particularly, what showed an "irrational fear", "aversion", or "discrimination"?
The entire JW belief system and all WT teachings are based on "irrational fear" of so many things, from plastic toy wizards to a cataclismic armageddon that is always just around the corner. They have an "aversion" to everything from cartoons about warrior wizards to asking questions that are just a little too apostate. And "discrimination"? They don't just discriminate against all "worldly" people, they discriminate against their fellow JWs for some of the most trivial of reasons!
When someone has a fear of everything, should we be surprised for them to tell the world that they're afraid of spiders?
With their "One Dude, One Non-dude" video, I think they're pretty tame on their condemnation of homosexuality compared to most of the previous things we've read and heard from WT on the subject. At least the video mom didn't scream "OH GROSS! Now I've got to scrub you in bleach so you don't catch HOMO! And we're homeschooling you from now on! Armageddon can't come soon enough to rain rocks on the heads of all the worldly people, especially those gays parading around in the tightest of pants!" No, WT would probably save that message for the cartoon when Caleb comes home and tells his mom that some apostates tried to offer him candy and talk to him.
Don't get me wrong, I think the video is horrible and dripping with cult poison, But it has about the same level of hatred and discrimination toward gays that WT shows toward all worldly people, and some JWs that are doing enough or wear pants that are too tight.
What I'm not sure about though is the situation with the dude and the duffle bag as an illustration of being gay. Was the dude gay and he had his dwarf boyfriend in the carry-on bag? Or was he straight, but had certain sex toys in the bag that aren't allowed around pandas? In which case, it isn't so much that the video is anti-gay, it's just really, really weird.

Zone visit talk Selters Germany
by Daniel1555 inthis afternoon is the 3 hour zone visit talk in selters, german branch.. i am together with my son (3 years) this weekend.
so i am happy that he can be with me doing fun stuff (maybe we'll eat some ice cream at the ice cafe after being on the playground) instead of sitting calm for 3 hours.
so there is no way i will attend this "boredom fest.".

by Coded Logic inthe wtbts has to know they aren't actually going to see their numbers significantly jump anytime soon/ever right?
are they planning on cutting the rbc down to 1/10th the work force so they can actually slow down their kh projects instead of increasing them?
or do they think their little website scheme is actually going to bring in more people?.

Sparky, it looks like their drug and alcohol supplies have been holding up okay to this point, at least in this group. Shelly has probably been on strong anti-depressants ever since she had to give up her home, dog, and dreams of having children so they could move to an apartment where she could hear through the thin walls when the neighbors were having sex while her husband was busy out "shepherding" everyone else. She said that after the move it took "time to adjust", as in adjust her anti-depressant dosages so that she didn't have continuous bouts of tears and thoughts of suicide.
After Chris and Shelly have supposedly just come in after braving murderous mobs, she is loaded with cheesy smiles and chuckles. That just doesn't seem "right". And Br. Brown seems to be a slightly impaired "slow talker". I think he's got a few bottles stashed somewhere that he isn't sharing with the rest of them.
I still can't figure the deal with Chris coming in with a little slip of paper for Br. Brown with "a count at each group." Is this the end of the month and everyone has to get their report in? Is it a tally of how many are naked and hungry? Or maybe the groups have been studying the OT and have been sacrificing some of their members to the mobs, which are probably gay mobs that have forced the sacrificed JWs to get gay married?
There are just so many unanswered questions in this video!
